Board Honors Retirees at Regular Meeting

The Unicoi County Board of Education honored hardworking retirees for their years of service at Thursday night's regular meeting.

Honorees included Unicoi County Middle School's Lisa Peterson, as well as Bob Thomas and Becky Shealy, both retiring from Unicoi County High School.

Board member Garland "Bubba" Evely was also honored, as he will be moving into the new elected position of Unicoi County Mayor.
